Retatrutide Dosage Calculator

Retatrutide is a triple agonist (GLP-1 / GIP / glucagon) typically dosed once weekly. Enter your vial size, the bacteriostatic water you'll add, and your target weekly dose — the visual syringe below shows exactly where to pull the plunger.

mg

Common vial sizes for Retatrutide are 10 mg and 20 mg.

mL

= 2 mg | Starting point: 2mg once weekly (half the recommended initial dose). Titrate up only as tolerated.

1 mg = 1,000 mcg (micrograms). Most peptide protocols are written in mcg.

Reconstitution walkthrough

Every step below uses the numbers you entered above.

  1. 1
    Wipe both stoppers

Swab the rubber tops of the 10 mg Retatrutide vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with fresh alcohol pads. Let them air dry for a few seconds.

  2. 2
Draw 2 mL of BAC water

Pull 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a reconstitution syringe (usually a 3 mL syringe with a 21g needle).

  3. 3
Add water slowly, down the side

Inject the water against the inside wall of the vial, don't blast it directly onto the powder. This protects the peptide from shear damage.

  4. 4
    Swirl, don't shake

Gently swirl until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear. Never shake, foaming denatures the peptide.

  5. 5
Draw 40 units on a 1 mL syringe

On your 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, pull the plunger back until the rubber tip lines up with 40, that's your 2.00 mg dose. Tap out any air bubbles, then inject as directed.

  6. 6
    Store refrigerated

Cap the vial and store at 2–8 °C (36–46 °F). Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 3–4 weeks refrigerated.

About Retatrutide dosing

Retatrutide is a once weekly investigational triple agonist. This calculator defaults to 2mg/week, a conservative initial dose that is half the typical recommended starting dose. Titrate up only every 4 weeks and only as tolerated. Reconstitute the lyophilized powder with bacteriostatic water, tilt gently — never shake — and store the reconstituted vial refrigerated.

The math above mirrors what's on the Retatrutide product page at Branch Peptides, just with a specialized calculator built around weekly GLP-1-class dosing.
