Mixing it, step by step

Step by step

Reconstitution steps

Every step below uses the numbers you entered above.

  1. 1
    Wipe both stoppers

Swab the rubber tops of the 10 mg MOTS-c — Autoimmune vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with fresh alcohol pads. Let them air dry for a few seconds.

  2. 2
Draw 0.5 mL of BAC water

Pull 0.5 mL of bacteriostatic water into a reconstitution syringe (usually a 3 mL syringe with a 21g needle).

  3. 3
Add water slowly, down the side

Inject the water against the inside wall of the vial, don't blast it directly onto the powder. This protects the peptide from shear damage.

  4. 4
    Swirl, don't shake

Gently swirl until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear. Never shake, foaming denatures the peptide.

  5. 5
Draw 25 units on a 1 mL syringe

On your 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, pull the plunger back until the rubber tip lines up with 25, that's your 5.00 mg dose. Tap out any air bubbles, then inject as directed.

  6. 6
    Store refrigerated

Cap the vial and store at 2–8 °C (36–46 °F). Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 3–4 weeks refrigerated.

What to expect, week by week

Week 1

Energy floor lifts. Fewer afternoon crashes. Workouts feel less taxing.

Weeks 2–4

Endurance and recovery both improve. Some users report better glucose control.

Weeks 4–8

Peak effect. Consider a break so mitochondrial adaptation is preserved, not blunted.

Side effects to watch

  • Mild fatigue early on
  • Rare GI upset

Why people run it

  • Immune-modulating action at higher per-dose concentrations
  • Improved mitochondrial function
  • Anti-inflammatory signaling
