TB-500 Dosage Calculator

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4 used in healing protocols. Enter your dose, vial size and water, and the syringe shows exactly how many units to draw.

= 2,500 mcg | Typical dose is 2 to 2.5 mg, twice weekly while loading.

1 mg = 1,000 mcg (micrograms). Most peptide protocols are written in mcg.

About TB-500 dosing

Most protocols load at 2 to 2.5 mg twice a week for 4 to 6 weeks, then drop to 2.5 mg once a week for maintenance.

Swirl gently to mix, never shake, and keep the mixed vial in the fridge.

Step by step

Reconstitution steps

Every step below uses the numbers you entered above.

  1. 1
    Wipe both stoppers

Swab the rubber tops of the 10 mg TB-500 vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with fresh alcohol pads. Let them air dry for a few seconds.

  2. 2
Draw 2 mL of BAC water

Pull 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a reconstitution syringe (usually a 3 mL syringe with a 21g needle).

  3. 3
Add water slowly, down the side

Inject the water against the inside wall of the vial, don't blast it directly onto the powder. This protects the peptide from shear damage.

  4. 4
    Swirl, don't shake

Gently swirl until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear. Never shake, foaming denatures the peptide.

  5. 5
Draw 50 units on a 1 mL syringe

On your 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, pull the plunger back until the rubber tip lines up with 50, that's your 2.50 mg dose. Tap out any air bubbles, then inject as directed.

  6. 6
    Store refrigerated

Cap the vial and store at 2–8 °C (36–46 °F). Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 3–4 weeks refrigerated.

Frequently asked questions

How many units is 2.5 mg of TB-500?

With a 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water (5 mg/mL), 2.5 mg is 0.5 mL, which is 50 units on a U-100 insulin syringe.

How much water do I add to a 10 mg TB-500 vial?

2 mL is the most common choice. It gives 5 mg/mL, so every 10 units equals 0.5 mg.

How often is TB-500 dosed?

Twice weekly during a 4 to 6 week loading phase, then once weekly for maintenance.
