GHK-Cu is a copper peptide studied for skin, hair and tissue repair. Enter your vial size, water and dose to see exactly how far to draw.
= 2,000 mcg | Typical range 1 to 2 mg per injection.
1 mg = 1,000 mcg (micrograms). Most peptide protocols are written in mcg.
Common vial sizes are 50 and 100 mg.
For a 50 mg vial mixed with 3 mL bacteriostatic water (16.67 mg/mL), on a U-100 insulin syringe.
| Dose | Volume | Units | Doses per vial |
|---|---|---|---|
| 500 mcg | 0.030 mL | 3u | 100 |
| 1 mg | 0.060 mL | 6u | 50 |
| 1.5 mg | 0.090 mL | 9u | 33 |
| 2 mg | 0.120 mL | 12u | 25 |
| 3 mg | 0.180 mL | 18u | 16 |
GHK-Cu vials are large (50 to 100 mg), so the concentration is high and small changes in water make a big difference in units. The mixed solution is naturally blue.
Typical research use is 1 to 2 mg daily under the skin for 4 to 8 weeks. It can sting at the injection site, so some people add more water to dilute it.
Every step below uses the numbers you entered above.
Swab the rubber tops of the 50 mg GHK-Cu vial and the bacteriostatic water vial with fresh alcohol pads. Let them air dry for a few seconds.
Pull 3 mL of bacteriostatic water into a reconstitution syringe (usually a 3 mL syringe with a 21g needle).
Inject the water against the inside wall of the vial, don't blast it directly onto the powder. This protects the peptide from shear damage.
Gently swirl until the powder is fully dissolved and the liquid is clear. Never shake, foaming denatures the peptide.
On your 100-unit (1 mL) insulin syringe, pull the plunger back until the rubber tip lines up with 12, that's your 2.00 mg dose. Tap out any air bubbles, then inject as directed.
Cap the vial and store at 2–8 °C (36–46 °F). Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 3–4 weeks refrigerated.
With a 50 mg vial and 3 mL of water (16.67 mg/mL), 2 mg is 0.12 mL, which is 12 units.
3 to 5 mL is common. More water means less sting and easier measuring.
Copper peptides can irritate tissue at high concentration. Diluting with more water and rotating sites helps.
Yes. The copper gives the mixed solution a blue color.
